Did You Know?
The Federal Glass Company was established in Columbus Ohio in 1900 by George and Robert J. Beatty, and the company closed in the late 1970's. Both gentlemen are well-known for their pressed glass, manufactured glassware, barware, tableware, and cookware. They were considered innovators in producing glasses during the Depression era, but they also designed several atomic/retro patterns. You will find that most of the pieces by these two are marked with a F on the bottom of their dishware/glassware.
