RARE Vintage Pyrex Flameware 1.5 QT Double Boiler / Bain Marie with Glass Handles / 1950's Pyrex Flameware Double Boiler Pot
 
This listing is for a super awesome Vintage Pyrex Flameware Double Boiler Set with Lid from the 1950's!  The set includes one larger pot that fits one smaller indented pot inside of it.  Both pots have the Flameware logo on the metal attachment and have "Stainless" engraved on them as well.  Overall, this set is in great vintage condition, showing little wear and tear, and with no chips or cracks.  The inside of each of the pots shows some minimal hazing, which is typical for pieces this age.  This Vintage Pyrex Flameware Double Boiler Pot is PERFECT for making custards, sauces, warming up milk, and melting chocolate! It would make a fantastic addition to any cookware/kitchen collection.

Did You Know?
Pyrex Flameware should always have liquid in it before heating. It is important that hot dishes are allowed to cool before adding more liquid to Flameware. Never allow your Flameware to boil dry. If you have an electric stove, then Flameware requires a heat spreader (it is a small metal wire that can be found in online stores like Amazon).  If you have a gas stove, then no heat spreader is needed!
