This gorgeous and rare Vintage Blenko Orange Swirl "Charisma" Style Glass Decanter 7722X is filled with awesomesauce! This show-stopping decanter was made back in 1972. The decanter was designed by John Nickerson. The "Charisma" line was made in limited quantities for one year only. The Decanter was chosen to represent the Charisma line by being pictured on the Blenko Glass Company's 1972 catalog cover (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZYWBl__iaWKqT64OCpjmZfQ374VhWN01/view)! In fact, this was the first and only time that Blenko ever featured a single decanter on the cover. The line represented Blenko's first use of an internal colorway, and the revival of the concept of the "Specialty Line" which was formally established in 1960 by Wayne Husted.
This "Charisma" Decanter definitely makes for a stunning display piece, or if you are feeling extra awesome then just add some liquor or wine to this beauty and use it! Overall, this Vintage Blenko Decanter is in EXCELLENT condition, with no chips or cracks to the decanter or its stopper lid. The base of the decanter has a small rough spot in its center from when the stem was removed during the glass blowing process. The decanter is nice and clear. It has one natural air bubble. This exquisite Blenko "Charisma" Decanter is a must have for that avid Blenko or vintage glass collector!
